Trapped Within My Own Walls: A Home Confinement Tale
The borders of my home became like a safe space. Now they press in, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days bleed together, marked only by the chime of the timepiece and the gnawing emptiness in my chest. Every whisper from outside is a sharp pang of the world beyond.
I stumble through these confined rooms, searching for some glimpse of hope. The rays that once streamed across my floor now seem distant, and the stillness is deafening.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically altered. The world past our doors is a shadow of its former self. We are now confined within the walls of our homes, forced to adjust to a new lifestyle. The days melt, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, consuming media, and eating. We yearn for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a hike in the park, a meal with friends, or even just a chat without a screen between us.
This new existence has created challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more resourceful, and more appreciative for the little things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are coming.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels suffocating. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a constant echo that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure for freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to confinement. This occurs when the very notion with freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a tool for control and suppression.
Genuine freedom requires not only the absence for external constraints but also the nurturing of internal spirit. When this inner base is lacking, even amidst a society that home arrest values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the boundaries of their own thoughts.
Finally, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the barriers that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
